I have always had an interest in spirituality which first started in my early 20s when I saw a set of runes being sold on a spiritual stall. Curious to know more, I began learning about Pagan spiritual practices, ultimately leading me to deepen my appreciation of nature.
A past experience also led me to explore spirituality more, and as a naturally-curious person who thinks learning doesn't stop when you leave school, I wanted to know more about why things happen the way they do, and just having a general curiousity about the world around me, this led me on a path of exploring spirituality.
My spiritual side has always been there, but I kept to myself for a long time. Past experiences led me to believe I shouldn't talk about them, especially as I'd worked hard for a decade to be in a very corporate setting career-wise.
Transformative Change
I reached my 30s and felt completely stuck. Having struggled with my career and relationships in my 20s, I started to feel lost and didn't know what to do next. Nothing was working. However, when I turned 30 I had a spiritual awakening - this is when everything changed. It changed my way of thinking, and after months of self-reflection, shadow work and inner healing, I felt it was time to embrace my spiritual side more. I began using my runes and tarot cards more, and suddenly these divination tools and angel numbers I was seeing were urging me to go down a spiritual path both personally and career-wise. After a while I started to feel more like myself - my true self that I'd kept hidden - and began to embrace change and be open to new beginnings.
Why 'Solstice Spirituality'
I love the Solstice, it's my favourite time of the year. Personally I prefer the Winter Solstice and Yule celebrations as it's so close to Christmas. The Winter Solstice is a time of introspection, letting go, embracing the unknown and aligning with the natural cycles of the Earth - all things both myself and my business embodies. But the Summer Solstice is in the midst of summer, a time of abundance, renewal, growth, transformation and a connection to nature. It also has a signifcant meaning for me now, as this was the day that changed everything for me.
Inspirational Meeting
I met someone around the Summer Solstice who really changed my mindset. Their wisdom, spiritual knowledge, and service to others inspired me and pushed me to do so much transformative growth within such a short amount of time. This person changed my mindset just by the few conversations we had, and inspired me to deepen my spiritual knowledge and gifts. They serve as a reminder for me to step into my own personal power and inspire others do the same, helping them on their own journey of personal growth, self-discovery and healing.
Spiritual Awakening
In 2024 I went through a challenging time that led to a spiritual awakening. A break-up, family death, losing a job, letting go of people, unemployment, coping with having moved back home after 4 years abroad was all going on at the same time. A spiritual awakening can be triggered by trauma, a person (your 'twin flame') or gradually over time, and involves having a profound shift in consciousness and self-awareness, leading you to wake up to your old thoughts and patterns, thus leading you to make transformative change in your life and also a change in mindset, how you see yourself, others and the world around you.
After doing continuous shadow work and inner healing over the past few months, I've been inspired to explore my spirituality more and not be afraid to hide it or show parts of me I'd kept to myself for a long time. Eventually this led me to the realisation that I wasn't doing what I was supposed to be doing career-wise, so I completely changed things around. With a career in tourism and mountain development, having a business based around spirituality and personal growth feels very different, but it is common once people have a spiritual awakening to completely change career paths, as everything tends to fall apart to make way for your new life that is more aligned with who you truly are. Sometimes things that no longer serve your growth may fall apart which can be a sign of clearing the way for a new, more authentic path.
Behind the Logo
The Moon
Spiritually, the moon is seen as feminine energy, intuition and the subconscious. My favourite healing crystal is Moonstone, and a year ago I was given a piece of Moonstone jewellery that represents divine feminine energy, following your intuition, and new beginnings: all things I have embodied this past year on my journey of personal growth and spiritual awakening. Purple is also my favourite colour, which represents wisdom, spirituality, creativity and the link between the physical and spiritual realms.
The Sun
It is said that the sun represents energy, power, positivity, clarity and renewal. Raising your energetic vibration, stepping into your personal power, remaining positive and starting afresh are all things I inspire and guide you to do. The colour orange represents joy, enthusiasum, creativity and energy. The colour orange inspires action, encourages self-expression and fosters a positive outlook on life. It's also the colour of my hair, something I fully embrace now.
Connection with Divine Feminine and Masculine Energies
Just like what the moon, sun, purple and orange represent, it also represents the divine feminine and divine masculine energies that we all embody and balance within us.
Much like the moon, divine feminine energy is all about trusting your intuition, nurturing your creativity, practicing your self-compassion and allowing yourself to receive. Whereas divine masculine energy, a lot like the sun, represents taking action, setting boundaries, making decisions and expressing your ideas.
Relating this to a Twin Flame relationship dynamic, the divine feminine works from the upper three chakras (higher consciousness, spiritual connection, and intuition), whereas the divine masculine works from the lower three chakras (grounding, basic needs, and personal power). It’s all about balancing both energies within and coming into union with yourself and discover your true life’s purpose in order to reunite with your twin flame after a period of separation (a time for transformative growth, inner healing and discovering your true self). For me, being aligned with my true soul’s purpose is to run my spiritual business as a mentor in order to help others on their own journey of personal growth and self-discovery.
Embodying the Teachings of the Solstice
Just like the symbols and people mentioned above, I try to embody what they represent both personally and within my business. They teach us about embracing change, finding balance, and appreciating the connection between ourself, others and nature. They inspire acts of service, positivity, sharing my spiritual wisdom and knowledge, and reminding us we should remain resilient during tough times as this will lead to personal growth and self-discovery. They also encourages self-reflection, a sense of hope and renewal, and finding your purpose in life.
