Twin flames are two people, one soul. An intense, magnetic and deeply spiritual connection that is like no other. Described as a mirror of each other, they will trigger powerful, transformative change (usually during a period of no contact) before reuniting.

Whilst the concept of a twin flame is based on unconditional love, it is important to not only see it as a romantic relationship - but also a catalyst for working on past emotional wounds and trauma, inner healing, transformative growth and the discovery of your soul mission.

What is a Soul Mission

A 'soul mission' in a spiritual context refers to the unique purpose or calling you have in this lifetime, often seen as a fated, pre-determined plan or soul agreement you need to fulfill. This is often tied to specific experiences and lessons that will lead to growth, learning, and contributing to the collective consciousness.

Twin Flame Soul Mission

In the context of twin flames, your soul mission refers to the shared, divine purpose or life's mission the two of you came here to fulfill together. This may start during 'twin flame separation' and involves spiritual growth, service to others, and raising the collective consciousness.

How do I know what my soul's mission is?

Think about what your twin flame does. What is it that they're good at? How do you see them? For example, if you see them as someone who puts others first in acts of service, then this is likely what you are also supposed to do too. Think about the things you like the most, such as your interests, hobbies, career. Look at the qualities you admire the most about them and start to embody those too. Your twin flame is your mirror, so your core wounds are theirs. If you've struggled with relationships, finances, jobs, friendships - whatever it may be - look at ways you can help other people in areas you've struggled with in the past. Think about what help you wished you'd received when you were younger. Each individual's purpose is unique and specific to your life experiences and lessons you've learnt in the past.

Recognising and aligning with your soul mission can lead to a deeper sense of meaning, purpose, and fulfillment in your life. Look for signs, synchronicities and trust your own intuition as these will help identify your soul mission.

Before my spiritual awakening, I felt very lost in certain areas of my life. Things weren't the way I'd planned and everything I'd worked so hard to build over the past decade was falling apart. Because of things that happened in my childhood, these things then affected my career, romantic relationships, and also my sense of self and self-confidence in adult life. As I navigated my way through my spiritual awakening journey and began doing the shadow work and inner healing, all of a sudden I started to get a clearer idea of what I'd like to do with my life. I started seeing angel numbers urging me to practice my spirituality more, so I did. The more I researched about and worked on spiritual practices, the more positive progress I felt I was making on my journey. I also use tarot cards and runes which suddenly started suggesting I should focus on creating a spiritual business, so I stopped my travel business and put more focus and energy into my other business. I looked at what my twin flame is good at and how I see them, and thought perhaps I'm supposed to do something similar. I see my twin flame as a spiritual mentor, guiding me spiritually as I navigate my journey alone. They are someone who has triggered my spiritual awakening, motivated me to do the shadow work, inner healing and inspired me to set off on the right path toward my life's purpose. After many months of introspection, one day I realised what it is I'm meant to do in this lifetime and started Solstice Spirituality.

Example of Soul Missions

Soul missions can range from personal growth and healing to contributing to the world in a meaningful way, through art and sharing your creativity, activism and spreading awareness, or helping and healing others.

Healers

Those who are drawn to helping others tend to feel better, whether through physical, emotional or spiritual means. Giving to others comes naturally to them.

Spiritual Leaders, Life Coaches or Mentors

These are individuals that guide others on their own spiritual paths, offering knowledge, wisdom, and support during their period of personal growth and transformation. Doing your own shadow work and inner healing before helping others with the same issues is essential to becoming a spiritual life coach or mentor.

Community Builders

Those who foster stronger, deeper relationships with others and a sense of belonging within a community, helping to improve and develop it. They are someone who understands the community's strengths, weaknesses and needs, and work to create a positive and inclusive environment for people to connect and thrive.

Advocates and Activists

People who are passionate about and spread awareness about social or environmental change, dedicating their life to fighting for justice, equality or a sustainable future.

Creative Artists

Those who express themselves and connect with others through their art, music, writing or other creative mediums.

Entrepreneurs

Those who are driven to create something new and make a positive impact on others and on the world through their own business.

Whilst the concept of a soul mission can be seen as a pre-determined path, it's also a journey of self-discovery and growth, where individuals can choose their path and actions.
